Is this really free?
Yes. Completely. No trial period, no freemium tier, no “contact us for pricing.” We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our platforms are free for the organizations we serve.
What’s the catch?
There isn’t one. We know that sounds suspicious because every vendor in the nonprofit space says “free” and then sends you an invoice six months later. We literally cannot do that. Our tax status prohibits it. We never sell services to nonprofit organizations. Period.
Who is behind TSNI?
A small team of senior engineers with 40+ years of combined tech experience and 10 years working directly with nonprofits. We still work for Fortune 500 companies during the day and build TSNI tools because we believe the nonprofit sector deserves better. We keep our names off the site on purpose. Meet the team.
Why should I trust your data?
Because we have zero financial incentive to distort it. We don’t sell anything to nonprofits, which means we have no reason to sugarcoat findings or inflate metrics. Our data comes from direct, automated scans of public websites and IRS Form 990 filings. It’s measured, not surveyed.
Can I opt out of TSNI scanning?
Absolutely. Add Disallow: / for our user agent (TSNI-Scanner/1.0) in your robots.txt, or email us at info@tsni.org and we’ll remove your domain within 24 hours. No questions asked.
Can I see the data you have on my organization?
Yes. Email us at info@tsni.org and we will send you everything we have on your domain. If something is wrong, we’ll fix it.
Do you track visitors on your website?
Yes, aggressively. We track when you visited, what you clicked, what forms you submitted, and how far you scrolled. We do this within legal and ethical limits so we can reach as many nonprofits as possible. We don’t sell this data. Read our full Privacy & Data Policy for the unfiltered details.
Do you offer consulting or IT support?
No. We build platforms and training programs, not billable hours. If you need hands-on IT help, we’d recommend reaching out to your local nonprofit technology assistance provider.
