The Team

Most organizations scanning 700,000 domains and building custom learning platforms have 50 employees, a dedicated HR department, and a corporate ping-pong table.

We are a small team of senior engineers, with a very high AWS bill and a small army of dedicated volunteers.

Why No Names?

Some of our contributors hold senior positions in the cybersecurity sector or at major tech companies. Because they aren’t comfortable putting their names on a public team page, we decided to level the playing field: we all dropped our real names and use nicknames instead. Our credibility comes from our code and our data, not our LinkedIn profiles.

Here is the TSNI roster.

The Founders

[Nickname 1]
Co-Founder / Engineer
Sleeps occasionally. Pays the server bills out of pocket. Handles the core architecture and still gets unreasonably angry when someone uses an em dash in a markdown file.

[Nickname 2]
Co-Founder / Engineer
Writes the data pipelines. Drinks entirely too much coffee. Has been staring at IRS tax forms for so long that they all blur together.

The Volunteers (The Real Workforce)

We would be completely underwater without our volunteer team. They dedicate their free time to help us scale, and they do the work of a 30-person department.

Freddy
Code Reviewer
Freddy likes reading and writing nice code. He is strictly on top of the code review process in our workflow. He catches syntax errors that would have taken us three days to find, and he never complains about working weekends.

Tony
Content Creator
Tony is a writer by birth. He has read at least a couple million books (some of them without paying the book fee, unfortunately). He takes care of our content creation process, tone alignment, and research summaries. He likes Joy Division.

Alice
Data Specialist
Alice spends her volunteer hours looking at poorly scanned IRS Form 990 PDFs to verify domains. She parses tax documents that would have made a paid intern quit by lunch on Tuesday.

Bob
Quality Assurance
Bob clicks on things until they break. When they break, he complains to Freddy.
